About Suzanne
Suzanne graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University, Boston. With over 30 years of experience, she has worked in an extensive range of professional settings, including inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation and orthopedics, home care, occupational health, prosthetics, education and clinical management. Having interned and worked at the renowned Rancho Los Amigos National Rehabilitation Center in California and Braintree Rehabilitation Hospital in Massachusetts respectively, she was fortunate enough to have received prestigious training. She also taught Electrotherapy and assisted in the practical skills training and testing of students as an Adjunct Instructor in the Physical Therapy Assistant Program at Indian River State College. She has considerable experience in return-to-work programs and most recently established and oversaw a complete occupational health program for a local Aldi grocery store warehouse. Suzanne considers herself an avid fitness enthusiast exposing herself to many types of exercise and exercise programs. She was a Jazzercise franchise owner teaching as a dance aerobics instructor for over 7 years. She often includes this invaluable knowledge and experience of exercise into her treatment plans. She is currently co-owner of Fenton Prosthetics and Orthotics and has been for the last 25 years where she specializes in all aspects of prosthetic training including offering concierge services. She frequently reaches out to her professional community to consult and collaborate with other therapists on mutual patients at their facilities to share knowledge and experience of prosthetic training for the benefit of the patients and staff. Suzanne continually seeks to further educate herself through a multitude of professional coursework and resources. She takes a detailed yet very functional approach to her treatment philosophy. Viewing the patient as a whole, she considers all aspects that may impact successful outcomes. She uses a team approach to her therapeutic plan which includes the patient in goal setting as well as effective communication with those involved, striving for excellence in continuity of care.
